Parul Soni

Leads the “Tales that touch Grown Hearts” Initiative

After several years in the corporate world, Parul chose to return to education in her early thirties and transition into the field of mental health. She went on to complete a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, After several years in the corporate world, Parul returned to education in her early thirties to pursue her growing commitment to mental health. Now a therapist based in Bangalore with ten years of experience, she is deeply committed to outreach initiatives that normalise conversations around emotional well-being. Parul feels especially drawn to working with children, parents, teachers, and caregivers-those who play a vital role in shaping young minds and nurturing supportive environments.

Pallavi Tomar

Pallavi Tomar is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with over 14 years of experience. She works with adults on diverse mental health concerns and supervises therapists in building a reflective and relational psychodynamic practice. She feels passionately about supporting parents their role and identity and help them develop clarity, confidence and connection as parents

Maura Chari

Leads the “Attuned Parenting” Initiative (online)

Maura transitioned from entrepreneurship to counselling in 2016, bringing over two decades of multi-cultural experience to her practice. She specializes in supporting diversity and cultural sensitivity in therapeutic settings. Her passion for mental health awareness focuses on one-on-one parent consultations, particularly around adoptions, diversity, and life transitions such as empty nest syndrome and college adjustments. With extensive training in counselling and psychotherapy, she offers a unique perspective that bridges cultures and supports families through significant changes.

Seema Mullick

Leads the “Parenthood begins early” initiative

Seema has been working as an Expressive Arts Therapist for the last 11 years. She finds it meaningful to work with groups and with families to see a shift in belief systems and understanding of self. Some areas of interest are gender, sexuality, and supporting ‘to be parents’ to learn about the needs of a child as they come into the world and grow in safety, love and care.

Eeshani Chakraverty

Leads the Attuned Parenting initiative (offline) & Mental Health Trainings & Workshops Initiative

Eeshani has been working as a Psychotherapist since last 20 plus years . She mostly works with adolescents and adults. She believes that childhood experiences have a very significant role to play in one’s adult life choices and hence takes a keen interest in parenting and it’s nuances. Through Aagahi, she would be addressing parenting concerns in groups as well as individual settings.

Shivani Maheshwari

leads the “Parenting to minimize addictive behaviours” initiative

Shivani worked in the IT industry for a number of years before deciding to transition to a full time home maker. She believes that parenting has helped her grow as an individual and presented her with indescribable wonders and transformative challenges. The opportunity for self development starts before the arrival of the child and continues through various life phases. Relationships do better when we try to understand rather than ‘fix’. She guides yoga practice for children, adults and seniors in the tradition of the Bihar School of Yoga. Her interests include Vedic chanting, the study of Indian philosophy and Ayurveda.

Meena Pai

Leads the “Raising emotionally free boys” initiative

Meena has a background in Psychiatric Social Work and has worked with communities on gender & child related concerns. She has trained in therapeutic modalities such as play therapy, expressive arts therapy and gestalt therapy. She has been working with clients of all age groups for the last 13 years in her private practice. She enjoys supervising the work of therapists and contributing to the growth of the field of psychotherapy in India within ethical and therapeutically sound frameworks. She believes in culturally attuned pracice and is interested in developing training programs that are embedded in Indian familial, emotional and social contexts. She is passionate about parenting work, especially for raising boys in an emotionally sensitive manner that encourages their self expression and challenges rigid ideas around masculinity.
