Prevention is better than cure – this could not be more true when it comes to mental health and emotional well being!

Many of us, who have found our calling as mental health professionals, have spent several years of our careers working with adults of all ages and if there has been one thought that recurs in our experience , it is this – “I wish this client had experienced more care and understanding growing up!”

Just like any other health concern, it takes so much to “treat” psychological symptoms and presentations and even then, clients/ families/couples are often left with a feeling of LOSS for all the opportunities and relationships lost! And the truth is, in some cases, the damage done due to lack of psychological understanding and care is irreparable and quite tragic! The latest series “Adolescence” is an example of one such story!

Aagahi aims to provide awareness programs to schools, neighborhoods, hospitals and other communities to help parents, teachers, would-be parents understand the current psychological world of young people, to be able to minimize the negative impact of not just social media, but many other concerns like climate crisis, privilege, lack of emotional holding, etc.
