Parenting to Minimize Addictive Behaviours

A 2 hour long compassionate group session designed to empower parents navigating the challenging modern landscape where addiction risks are more varied and pervasive than ever-be it screens, alcohol, substances, or work. As caring parents, it’s natural to feel concerned about your child’s future and their vulnerability to these influences. These sessions provide a safe, supportive space to understand the underlying psychology of addiction, moving beyond myths to evidence-based insights.

Together, we explore how certain emotional, environmental, and relational factors can increase or reduce the likelihood of your child developing addictive behaviors. You will learn key differences that set resilient teens apart-such as emotional regulation, healthy coping strategies, and strong parent-child connections. More importantly, the sessions guide you in reflecting on your parenting style, recognizing subtle signs that may inadvertently increase risks, and adopting mindful, nurturing approaches that support your child’s well-being and independence.

There is hope in awareness. By becoming informed and intentional, you step into a powerful role-not as a controlling force, but as a steadfast protector and guide who helps your child build a foundation of emotional strength and healthy choices. Together, we create a community of parents united in fostering freedom, resilience, and joy for their families in an increasingly complex world. These sessions are offered online and offline (in Whitefield, Bangalore).
